Notable Manthers: Probing The Origins Of The Manther

While the greater Manther species is normally regarded as a mammalian descendant of the great apes, through long hours of hard probing we have uncovered perplexing evidence of a possible pre-historic reptilian Manther ancestor:  The Maniraptor.  Beyond the telling presence of the ‘Man’ prefix in its scientific name, we ask you to think about the following thought provoking thoughts about the possibility of the Manther deriving from reptiles.  Does the Manther not exhibit a cold-blooded, reptilian flair with which he stalks and captures his prey?  Have you ever heard of a monogamous lizard comitted to a long term relationship?  Would not the glorious display of plumage in the illustration below be an unstoppable tool of seduction?  Perhaps the complex science of the future will be able to resolve this quandry, but for now we can only wonder, and admire.
